MySpace for Horses

Do you have a MySpace page created for your horse in the Memphis area? Calling all MySpace addicts.... Why not join me in creating a MySpace page for your horse? It's fun, it's entertaining, and we get to know local Memphis area horses better. Click here to take a look at my sister's page for her horse, Gage This. Gage will tell you all about himself, and his relatives, and would love some new "horsy" friends. Add Gage as a friend and be sure to leave me a link to your horse's page in comments!

Develop Confidence and Rythm with this Jumping Exercise

I'm always on the lookout for riding exercises to help build rhythm and confidence for both horse and rider. Here's a great article with some easy jumping exercises to help. This article is written by well-respected hunter equitation trainer, Holly Hugo-Vidal. Memphians may remember her being a successful hunter trainer in the Memphis area several years back. This is an excerpt from her latest book:Build Confidence Over Fences

New Horse for ME

I am so excited to be getting a new horse from Lexington, KY very soon! My new little buddy is a 3 1/2 yr old Unraced TB Gelding! I went up and meet him this past Monday, and vetted him out in 17 degree, snowy, weather. He was so well-behaved and Mr. Personality Plus. All I can say, is tooooo cute!!!

He should be delivered sometime within the next 7-10 days. I'm counting down! Pic's and name to come soon.
