Get Ready for Germantown Charity Horse Show

School is out for the summer- can you believe it? With summertime, comes the excitement of a fantastic summertime horse show tradition in the Memphis area- the Germantown Charity Horse Show. A great multi-breed horse show rich in tradition and memories for the Germantown and Memphis community.

The show will be held June 12-16. Lots of fun! Of course this show hosts hunter/jumpers, saddlebreds, and walking horses, but one of the events I'm most excited about this year is the Carriage Driving classes! Single horse driving & a separate single pony driving class will take place on Tuesday evening! My sister and I will be showing against each other in the single pony class. She's planning on showing me up... we'll see. (Yes, we've got a little family rivalry brewing)

A special Junior driving carriage class open to junior drivers driving either ponies or miniature horses will take place on Wednesday evening this year! Can't wait for this. There are many juniors from our barn, Kimberlin Farms which will be competing. Should be great fun!
